How very Parliamentarian!

We finished off our Canadian adventure with English style fish and chips on the lawn of the Parliament building while Jonah vamped for a photo shoot with a couple of Japanese tourists. Splendid!

24 hours in Victoria BC part 2

Here we are touring the Craigdarroch Castle and walking around the grounds.

We also rambled through the lovely neighborhood and were delighted by the beautiful old homes. We also found ourselves at Government House and were impressed by the unique Garry Oak ecosystem in the surrounding 20 acres.

24 hours in Victoria BC

Who knew that a thriving culturally rich and lush Euro style city lies 33 miles to the northwest! We had a great time window shopping, walking, sightseeing, eating and drinking in a sunny outdoor cafe and taking in what the lovely city had to offer!

Adventures at Sea

Walking on Water

We took the boat over to Victoria BC last week and had a great time. Jonah got to practice his high-step on the deck.

Wild Animal Spotted in Garden

If you have any information about the wild animal spotted in the garden, please phone or email. thank you.

Happy Father's Day!

We celebrated Father's Day today by enjoying a long walk into town and back along the Larry Scott trail as part of the Longest Day of Trails event. The 12 mile walk was heaps of fun, not only because everything is in full leafy glory, but also because we hit up the Blue Moose at the half way point and ate a great breakfast. It was a cool misty day and a lovely last day of spring.

Making up for the 3 month hiatus

Yes, we've been busy. Gloriously busy. We've been gardening, traveling, breathing, I don't know what all we've been up to but updating the blog has not been one of them. sorry. But please, let me offer this video as a small token of condolence. This is a simple video that illustrates not only the correct way to wear leg warmers, but also the importance of classic rock in early music education. Thanks to Fela for stepping in at the end to promote decency.
