GarlicBoy

Jonah has started his own business and he calls it GarlicBoy. We planted garlic down in the low garden last October and have been watching it grow all winter and spring. In the early summer, we cut the scapes and made scape pesto which is, as Jonah says, "spicy good". He has been intimately involved with every step of the garlic growing process, from planting to harvesting to curing. Jonah can talk garlic like nobody's business - hard neck vs soft neck varieties, the ins and outs of harvesting and how to cut the scapes. we surprised ourselves by harvesting over 400 bulbs. I can smell the beginnings of a home business.
